God has been teaching me so much about myself and Himself. Before Impact, there was a disconnect between my knowledge and my belief.
I knew who God said he was, but Trueface revealed many underlying falsities that I still believed.
When we had to write the lies we believed about God and ourselves, I thought I was solidified in my beliefs. I came in with pride, thinking I knew who God was, but discovered where my beliefs actually were.
God is a loving Father who genuinely loves me. I still cannot comprehend this, but I know it is true. He is also a good King. Being both loving and just, He is good. I know who God says I am. Even with good intentions, there is nothing I can do to make God love me any more or less than He already does.
By the power and grace of God, I now know and believe who God says He is and who He says I am. Instead of mainly seeking knowledge of God, I am also continually seeking His presence. God is so good.
The next step for me is obtaining a degree in theology. I desire to learn deeply so that I may pour into and teach others deeply. I plan on discipling young men and leading Bible studies at home this summer and during my years at college.
I want to thank everyone who has supported me through their prayers and finances. God is working through you in amazing ways!
