At Impact 360 we believe when it comes to vocation, there is no division of the sacred and secular. Christians are clearly called to influence their day-to-day circles, whether they are a pastor, accountant, teacher, or electrician. For young Christian leaders, the role of faith in their leadership influence is not only foundational, but also transformative. Impact 360 Institute was founded with the purpose of cultivating leaders who live out their faith with purpose, integrity, and a heart for others. Here are three truths we practice as team members and teach to our students.
A Mature Christian Faith Anchors Identity and Purpose.
One of the greatest challenges a leader faces is the temptation to define themselves by achievements, popularity, or fleeting successes. Accomplishments do not define us.
At Impact 360 we emphasize the importance of a Biblical worldview and identity firmly rooted in Christ. An informed faith provides young leaders with a solid foundation, and it reminds us that our worth is not earned but instead defined by a Creator who loves us. When a leader knows that they are loved and purposed by God, their leadership flows from a place of ongoing security rather than temporal circumstances.
This anchoring allows leaders to resist the sway of cultural pressures and instead pursue their calling with confidence and humility. As Impact 360 teaches, living “lives of purpose” means seeing one’s leadership as stewardship—a calling to serve God and others with the gifts entrusted to them. In this way, faith transforms ambition into mission, and advancement into potentially larger areas of service.
Faith Shapes Character and Integrity.
Leadership is inseparable from character. Leadership will reveal who you truly are.
Impact 360’s commitment to the formation of character is rooted in the conviction that virtues such as honesty, humility, courage, and compassion are the very substance of Christian leadership. Our faith is a daily practice that shapes decisions, relationships, and community.
Faith motivates leaders to be consistent in word and deed, to seek truth, and to admit failures with transparency. Paul provides an example as he encouraged Timothy, “Set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity” (1 Timothy 4:12). A Christian leader’s credibility is someone else’s view of who Jesus is. This responsibility must be carefully modeled.
Faith Inspires Servant Leadership and Cultural Engagement.
Impact 360 equips students not just to lead, but to thoughtfully serve and influence culture. Christian leadership, modeled after Jesus, is defined by humility, sacrifice, and a steadfast commitment to the well-being of others. To follow Jesus faithfully, leaders are to put the needs of their team, organization, or community above their own.
