IMPACT 360, a nine-month gap year program supported by the Lifeshape, Inc., is expanding its reach and growing its campus in Pine Mountain, Georgia. Since 2006, IMPACT 360 has been offering students multiple areas of study that help create a holistic approach to continuing education. Core studies include: worldview studies, experiential learning, international travel and leadership training at Chick-fil-A, Inc. in Atlanta, GA.
The founders, board of directors, and staff have come together to help build a beautiful new facility at IMPACT 360, including modern classrooms to provide active learning environments for up to 40 students; a new library for study and reading; expanded student common area for group projects and discussion groups; a larger dining area; a new workout facility and much more.
“IMPACT 360 is intentionally equipping young adults to become Christ-centered servant leaders who impact communities with the message of Jesus Christ,” explains Trudy Cathy White, co-founder of the Lifeshape, Inc. and daughter of S. Truett Cathy, founder of Chick-fil-A, Inc.
“IMPACT 360 offers unique experiences for students to understand their faith and discover “who” they are in order to live out their faith in the marketplace. We are excited about the recent campus improvements, which will help facilitate an environment of intellectual learning and spiritual growth.”
The small, yet beautiful IMPACT 360 campus rests nestled among the rolling hills and towering pines of Pine Mountain, just moments from Callaway Gardens.
“This is a beautiful place,” says John Basie, the program’s director, “but we are constantly looking for ways to improve so that we are better able to invest in the lives of the students we serve. These new improvements to our campus and facilities help us make a statement that we are more than a simple gap-year program. We are equipping young people to stand strong and become the leaders of tomorrow, and we feel like they deserve the best possible learning and living environments to help them grow and succeed.”
