Team Sao Paulo/Brasilia safely made it to Brasilia Tuesday morning after a long overnight flight. We spent the afternoon relaxing at Agua Viva, where we’ll be staying for the first 11 days in Brasil. All of the students are amazed by how beautiful it is here, and we’re all loving the warm weather. After hanging out at the pool, napping, etc., for a while, the Impact team met up with the Life-Shape Brasil team for bowling and dinner. We’ve all loved getting to make new friends here and getting acquainted with the culture.

Today we are taking a city tour in Brasilia. We saw how the city is laid out in the shape of an airplane, and also got to visit many government buildings and museums, such as the presidents house, brasilian memorials, the presidents office, the senate and congress. We haven’t yet had the opportunity to serve, but it’s been good getting to know the city and the culture so we can better relate to the people we get to come in contact with here. Tonight, we get to visit a church, Boa Vista, outside the city where we will serve them with a work project followed by a service for their congregation. We are all exhausted from so much travelling, but God has been faithful to provide us with the energy we need.
