Graduate Assistantship Details

Details

Enrolled graduate students are able to indicate their assistantship preference during the application process. The Graduate Assistantship is a part-time position, averaging 25 hours of work per week.

During their two years as Graduate Assistants, Masters students become part of the Impact 360 Institute staff. The application process for Impact 360 Masters includes both academic and programmatic qualification (Impact 360 Masters and North Greenville University), and the Impact 360 Institute staff hiring process.

Student Development

The Student Development Graduate Assistantship focuses on supporting the spiritual and academic life of Impact 360 Fellows. Spend two years intentionally discipling and developing college-aged students. This role is designed for graduate students who see themselves working in discipleship-focused vocational ministry upon completing their degree. Gain two years of relevant ministry experience and professional mentorship as you earn your M.A. in Leadership at Impact 360 Institute.

Student Development Assistantships take place from August-May of each year and traditionally include one month of international travel.

Organizational Leadership

The Organizational Leadership Graduate Assistantship focuses on supporting the mission and vision of Impact 360 Institute while honing your marketing, communications, and enrollment experience. This role is designed for graduate students who see themselves serving in a leadership capacity within an organization upon completing their degree. Gain two years of relevant work experience and professional mentorship as you earn your M.A. in Leadership at Impact 360 Institute.

There are 2-3 total spaces available for this track. Organizational Leadership apprenticeships provide year-round employment for graduate students for the duration of the program.

Hiring Requirements

  1. A graduate student enrolled in the Impact 360 Masters.
  2. An evangelical believer practicing an active faith in a New Testament-based denomination and in unreserved agreement with the Institute’s Statement of Faith and Biblical Conduct and Lifestyle Standards. Must also:
    1. Support the vision, values, and philosophy of the Institute.
    2. Understand and support the Community Standards established for the student learning and living community at Impact 360 Institute’s Fellows experience.
  3. Strong communication skills including one-on-one conversations, small group facilitation, public speaking, and writing in a manner consistent with our organizational purpose and beliefs.
  4. Required to live on the Impact 360 Institute campus.
  5. For Student Discipleship Assistantship: Ability and willingness to travel out of the country for a month-long international trip with the undergraduate students and staff.
  6. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to handle stressful situations with poise.
  7. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a team as a team player and a team builder.
  8. Demonstrated capacity for patience, approachability, and dependability.
  9. Must have fewer than 3 driving violations in the last 5 years, and be able to drive a 15-passenger van.
