After 20 years of working in International Missions, John and Trudy Cathy White recognized an increasing need for equipping young adults in the area of godly leadership. Impact 360 Institute was born out of the vision of Lifeshape Foundation: to transform communities with the message of Jesus Christ by equipping young adults to become Christ-centered servant leaders.
Aware that many people choose to abandon their faith when unable to explain or defend it against advocates of secular humanism and other misguided worldviews, the Whites began searching for ways to combat this critical shift in ideas and lifestyle occurring amongst college-age students.
Impact 360 Institute was founded in 2006 as a non-profit organization dedicated to equipping young adults with a biblical worldview and leadership skills that will enable them to impact their communities and the world. The organization was originally known as Impact 360 Gap Year, offering a nine-month program for high school graduates.
Over the years, Impact 360 has expanded its offerings to include one and two-week worldview and discipleship summer camp experiences, a nine-month gap year program, and a two-year graduate residency program. Today, Impact 360 Institute is a premier discipleship and leadership development organization that offers a range of transformative programs for young adults.
The Institute’s programs are designed to provide a holistic educational experience that combines rigorous academics with practical training in leadership, character development, spiritual formation, and servant leadership. Students are taught to think critically and engage with the world around them from a biblical perspective, to develop strong biblical character and a deep sense of purpose and mission.
In addition to its programs for young adults, Impact 360 Institute offers a variety of resources and training for parents, educators, and church leaders who want to equip the next generation of leaders. The organization is committed to making a positive impact on society by fostering a generation of leaders who are grounded in their faith, committed to service, and equipped to make a difference in their communities and beyond.
Impact 360 Institute has been inspiring and equipping the next generation of Disciples to Know Jesus more Deeply, Be Transformed in Character, and Live with Spirit-Empowered influence since 2006.
Impact 360 Institute serves High School graduates through their 9-month Gap-Year, Impact 360 Fellows experience, teenagers for one and two weeks through Impact 360 Immersion and Propel, and young professionals through Impact 360 Residency.
