This past Saturday we were able to go into an inner-city Atlanta neighborhood and throw a block party. A dozen or so of the men laid sod at front of the neighborhood in order to clean it up. The block was amazing! There was Chick-fil-A, snow-cones & cotton candy, and lots of music. A lot of people within in the neighborhood attended and they sure enjoyed it. We had a few alumni come along beside us and help serve. We had a lot of dancing and coloring going on. I was expecting lots of food to be left over, but at the end of the day it was all gone. Towards the end of the block party, God’s word was shared and there was a call to repent any un-confessed sins. There was a lot of joy and God definitely moved not only in downtown Atlanta, but also within the heart of the students here at IMPACT 360.
