During class with Ed this week, students were challenged to be able to properly defend what they believe. After reading “The Case for Christ” by Lee Strobel, students came to class prepared to discuss factual arguments Strobel presented in his book regarding foundational topics in Christianity including Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection. One of the amazing parts of learning apologetics in class this week was seeing separate facts transform into a groundbreaking cumulative argument for the validity of scripture. By the end of the week, the student body as a whole was able to demonstrate factually that the Bible is one of the most historically sound books in existence today and argue eloquently why this is so. Class ended this week with the Academy where students applied their new knowledge by responding to a video that tried to disprove Jesus and God. To see young adults articulately defend Christianity was a beautiful demonstration of how God is working at IMPACT 360.
