One prayer that my mom has always prayed for my siblings and me is that He does immeasurably more than we could ever ask or imagine… This prayer is a bold yet faithful one, and it’s so beautiful to see God work through this.
Impact 360 Fellows was a year that I experienced more than I could have asked or imagined — in the fun, the hard, and the sad.
I came into Impact 360 with a hunger for Jesus but a distorted view of His grace, one that I didn’t even realize was wrong until God used Impact as a means to teach me.
Through the tight-knit community, getting to experience such rich trips together, such as Utah and Spiritual Rhythms in Alabama, the Lord began unraveling all my shame and insecurity as He showed me who I truly am in Christ!
This is the most important aspect of my life, and I am so thankful God used a place like Impact to show me this.
Also during the Fellows year, I specifically learned about biblical discipleship and evangelism, and through this have grown a deep passion for both.
Nine months ago, I would have told you that I was completely unequipped for a spiritual conversation about my faith, and I now realize how sad this is because of the reality of the Gospel!
But now, after these nine months of being challenged far beyond my comfort zone, I have gotten to experience discipleship first-hand and have countless spiritual conversations with others.
This in itself has grown my relationship with Jesus as well.
So, as I think about my next steps after this year, I now have a completely different outlook on my life: That I am here to use my unique gifts and passions to worship my Creator and bring others into His Grace as well.
I plan to head off to North Greenville University and major in either ministry or business. Though I know that wherever I go the rest of my life, I can use that as my mission field for the Lord. I get to walk into every room the rest of my life knowing who I am and whose I am, and that my greatest Joy can be sharing this Truth with others.
There is no program just like Impact 360. The number of generous people it takes to get a student like me to the place I’m at is so, so crazy, and I know I take it for granted.
The Lord is using the White family, through their generosity, to bless this generation. And He is using all the Impact donors in their generosity to equip young men and women to be pillars of the Truth in a world that has never needed it more.
I thank the Lord daily for this place I got to call home for 9 months.
