Nine months ago, I came to Impact 360 carrying a quiet but constant question:
Why would God even want to listen to me?
I believed in Him, but I didn’t know how to walk in His grace.
Instead, I lived as if everything depended on me, and my effort, my discipline, my ability to “get it right.”
That tension came to the surface during our Spiritual Rhythms trip.
I remember sitting alone, trying to pray, but feeling stuck, and almost like I didn’t belong in God’s presence. That moment exposed something deeper:
I wasn’t living like grace was real.
I was trying to carry my own burdens.
Everything shifted after a conversation with my Resident. He helped me see that I was holding onto things I was never meant to carry.
For the first time, I didn’t just understand grace, but I stepped into it. And almost immediately, I felt it: rest.
Not because my circumstances changed, but because I stopped trying to be my own savior.
From that point on, my focus changed. Instead of striving to earn God’s approval, I began living from it. That shift didn’t just impact me; it overflowed.
I had the opportunity to walk alongside three others as they began to understand and step into Christ’s grace for themselves. Watching that happen made it clear: grace isn’t just something we receive; it’s something we multiply.
grace isn’t just something we receive; it’s something we multiply.
Some of the clearest reminders of God’s grace came through community.
Simple moments like laughing with friends during breaks helped me realize that this place had become a kind of home. Those relationships showed me that God’s grace often looks like people walking with you, reminding you of truth when you forget it.
Next, I’ll be working at a summer camp and then heading to college to study architecture. I’ll be stepping into both a Christian workplace and a secular campus, and my goal is simple: live out what I’ve learned.
I want to intentionally invest in campers, pour into a youth small group at my church, and build relationships on campus where disciple-making can happen naturally.
To those who supported and prayed for us this year, thank you. Your investment isn’t just seen in what we’ve learned, but in who we’re becoming. Because of your faithfulness, I’m leaving with something I didn’t have before, which is not just knowledge, but a deep confidence in the grace of God.
If you’re considering this journey, know this: it will challenge you, stretch you, and expose things you didn’t expect. But more than anything, it will meet you with the grace of God, and that changes everything.
We believe that when a student is rooted in truth, they become a catalyst for the Kingdom wherever they go. Help us continue to forge disciples who possess the resolve to stay faithful and the tools to make disciples. Your investment in the Multiply Fund makes this transformation possible.
