When I first stepped on campus nine months ago, I had no expectations of who I was to become or what position I was going to be given; I had no idea what Impact really even was.
But the Lord did far more abundantly than I could have asked or thought.
I walked into this place with the mindset that I was passive, lacked initiative, proper desire, that my flesh ruled me, lacked intentionality, and proper giftings. God showed me otherwise; he showed me that I can truly do nothing aside from him. He also showed me that he uses people for his glory in the most perfect way that reflects the Gospel of Christ, and when he uses people, he does so for the good of his people and the sake of his great name.
Going International revealed the might and greatness of God globally. His Kingdom is everlasting, and his name is to be revered and hallowed throughout the earth. I remember so many amazing things about going to South Africa, my team that bonded so well and was centered around Christ-focused leadership, sacrifice, and worship of the Lord. We were a part of two people coming to accept Jesus and the blessing of watching a homeless man named Angus give his life to Christ and his life radically transform for his good and through his works, glorify our King.
I am planning to work for my missions mobilization org called VIA in College Station, TX, and hopefully go to Liberty Online while pursuing a degree in pastoral leadership and administration. I seek to hone in on holistic discipleship and evangelism while bringing the people the Lord has placed in my life into this ministry with me.
I leave you with this: the partners that allow us to be here bless us with the ability to understand ourselves and the Lord so much more clearly. We have the blessing to maintain relationships that honor God, that set us apart not just from people our age, but most believers globally. Thank you for partnering with us in these past nine months in this ministry that the Lord has placed in front of you, blessings and favor to you.
