In this edition, you’ll hear about Immersion, our two-week summer experience, be inspired by a Fellows alumnus, and discover ways you can be part of what God is doing through Impact 360. Together, we’re helping students be grounded in truth and equipped to step faithfully into their Christ-centered calling.
Immersion
Beyond the classroom, students put what they were learning into practice through hands-on experiences and fun excursions together. These teachings and experiences are helping students become firmly rooted in the truth of God’s Word and equipped to live out their faith with confidence.

Where are They Now: Alumni
David Gabertan, Fellows Class of 2023 
For David Gabertan, influence isn’t limited to a church building. It is something he strives to live out every day, including in his work as a banker at Bank of America in Summerville, South Carolina.
While many people think of banking as numbers and transactions, David sees it as an opportunity for ministry. “From helping someone buy their first home to walking with families through loss, so much life happens at the bank,” he shares.
“My goal is to financially advise others so that I can eventually spiritually advise others. With the wide range of stories that may come through our doors every day, there are multiple ways to minister and to be a light to others.”
In their community, David and his wife Kayla serve at their local church plant. David plays piano on the worship team and helps with setup and teardown, while Kayla serves on the greeting team. Whether at church or in the workplace, David’s desire remains the same: to faithfully point others to Christ wherever God has placed him.
